The Chicago Police Department will not reform itself. This is why we are inviting you to join us and force the reforms that will protect us as citizens and protect good cops from bad cops who hide behind the shield.
Although this senseless and inhumane police violence was captured on video, the likelihood that this cop will be held accountable is slim to none. This is because the Chicago Police Union (the Fraternal Order of Police) has successfully negotiated protections through their contract that shield police officers from being held accountable when they violently violate citizens. This is why we must reform the Chicago Police Contract.
Together we are rising to the civil rights issue of the day and ensuring that Black Lives truly matter by creating real accountability measures for the Chicago Police.
